Vertex Harbor LLC provides customized digital and professional services. This policy explains the general approach to cancellations and refunds. Specific project terms and applicable law control where necessary.
Scope and fees before work
Before work begins, the project scope and applicable fees are communicated and agreed. Deposits, milestones, recurring charges, and any cancellation conditions should be stated in the proposal or agreement.
Completed and performed work
Completed work and work already performed are generally non-refundable. For milestone projects, payments associated with completed or approved milestones are generally non-refundable. Cancellation does not reverse the time or costs already committed to customized work.
Requesting cancellation
Clients may request cancellation in writing to info@vertexharbor.store. We review the effective cancellation point, work performed, completed milestones, committed third-party expenses, agreed terms, and any prepaid unused services. A request alone does not establish an automatic refund.
Refund eligibility
Eligibility and any amount depend on whether work has started, completed work, non-recoverable commitments, the project agreement, and applicable law. Unused prepaid services may be eligible where the agreement and circumstances support a refund. Any approved refund and method are communicated in writing.
Third-party expenses
Hosting, domains, premium plugins, software licenses, applications, advertising spend, platform fees, and third-party subscriptions may be non-refundable once purchased or committed on a client’s behalf. Provider refund terms also apply.
Legal rights
Nothing in this policy excludes a refund or remedy required by applicable law. Please raise concerns promptly so the relevant scope, work, and agreed terms can be reviewed.
